Hotel Policy and Terms & Conditions

Please carefully read the text below. By making a booking at The Western Hotel or The CityPoint Apartments you are accepting the Hotel Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Special Policy applies to Race week bookings and will be advised by the hotel at the time of booking. Minimum stay of 2 nights is required for all weekend, bank holidays and festive dates bookings.

Individual Bookings Terms and Conditions
An Individual booking is an accommodation booking for up to 3 rooms or 2 apartments.

Booking Procedure
To confirm a booking, valid credit card details and full contact details are required. Where a credit card is not available, the Hotel may agree to accept a cash deposit. In the case of a cash deposit, the balance remaining must be paid prior to arrival. Rooms kept on hold but not confirmed with a deposit or credit card details are not guaranteed and may be released by the Hotel for sale at any time without prior notification. By providing your card details you are authorising The Western Townhouse Hotel Ltd. to charge it to the amount of your booking value or in case of cancellation/no show, to charge it in accordance with Hotel Cancellation Policy.

Security Deposit
Upon arrival, for all apartment bookings, a signed damage contract is required. At its own discretion, the hotel may request cash or credit card pre-authorization for €250 as a security deposit. The deposit is refunded on departure if no damage has occurred.

Cancellation Policy – Individual Bookings
Rooms, Apartments and Suites cancelled up to 48 hours prior to 12:00 PM of the booked arrival date will be cancelled free of charge.
Any rooms or apartments cancelled after that time will be charged the full rate of the first night’s accommodation.

The Western Hotel and CityPoint Apartments are providing Non-Smoking accommodation. There is a charge of €200 for smoking in the rooms or apartments.

In order to provide secure accommodation, only hotel residents are allowed to be present in hotel rooms and apartments.
When booking a CityPoint Apartment only one car parking space is available per apartment. Guests must arrange alternative car parking for any additional vehicles.
Group Bookings Terms and Conditions
A Group booking is an accommodation booking for 4 and more rooms or 3 and more apartments.
Booking Procedure
Where booking is not made under Advance Purchase policy and not paid for immediately at the time of booking, deposit of 50% is required two weeks after requesting rooms to be kept on hold or placing an online booking. A second payment of 50% will be required 2 weeks in advance of the booked date. Rooms kept on hold but not confirmed with deposit may be released by the Hotel for sale at any time without prior notification.
If the booking concerns dates less than 4 weeks away from the date of enquiry, 50% of the booking value has to be paid within two days from the day of enquiry/online booking. Accordingly, if the booking concerns dates less than 2 weeks away from the date of enquiry, 100% of the booking value has to be paid within 2 days. Rooms kept on hold but not confirmed with a payment will be released by the Hotel for sale at any time without prior notification.

All deposit payments are to be settled directly with The Western Hotel. Main Booker must authorise hotel to charge his/her credit or debit card, or to pay via Bank Transfer. Booker’s full name and arrival date has to be given as a reference on Bank Transfer.

Security Deposit:
Upon arrival a cash deposit or credit card pre-authorization for €35 per person, but not less than €350 is required as a security deposit and the Damage Contract stating that all damages exceeding the deposit amount will be covered by the booking party needs to be signed. The deposit is refunded on departure if no damage has occurred.
Cancellation Policy – Group Bookings
In the event of cancelling a group booking, the following charges will apply to all accommodation booked by the group and all other individual rooms associated with the group:
• Within 2 weeks = 100%
• Within 4 weeks = 50%Quality of Service
In order for us to provide you with our high standard of service, the pre-arranged arrival times must be adhered to. Time of arrival, rooming list and meal time, if booked, must be arranged in advance.
Additional provisions:
1. The hotel reserves the right to refuse to accommodate groups in the following cases;
– The hotel believes the booking may prejudice the reputation of the hotel
– The hotel believes that the group could behave in a way considered detrimental, offensive or contrary to expected standard behaviour
– In the circumstances where the booking was made through a third party or under false pretencesSpecial Policy applies to Race week bookings will be advised by the hotel at the time of booking.

Car Park
Please note that our car park for Hotel and St. Bridget’s Apartments operates under the supervision of a valet and should you wish to avail of it, you will be asked to leave your car keys with him.
