Thursdays –  Fantastic Irish Trad Session

Thursday nights are famous for Galway’s largest open session gathering of traditional musicians, with the music session going long into the night. Audience members are welcome to bring their own instruments and join in. This is a night not to be missed!

Fridays and Saturdays – Live Bands

Saturday nights are all about great live music, with Galway’s cover bands providing you with the best entertainment. “Carousel” belong to Galway’s premier cover bands and are performing at The Western Bar every second weekend. We also have “Pete Higgins – One Man Acoustic” gracing our venue once a month. We have “Loose Rooster” rocking the bar with their folk vibes twice a month. Not forgetting band “G2” with their light rock, traditional ballads and bluegrass songs. These lads are guaranteed to entertain you.

The Western Bar prides itself on offering something for everyone. Live entertainment is what the Western Bar does best taking all tastes into account.
