Deputy General Manager
An experienced Deputy General Manager is now required for The Western Hotel.
We are looking for a strong candidate who has previous experience in a similar role.
Reporting directly into the General Manager, some of the duties of the role will be:
Responsible for the day to day running of the hotel
Overseeing all departments
Recruitment/training and rostering staff
Ensuring each department is sufficiently staffed, and all staff are trained to the highest standard
To lead and motivate your team
To ensure our guest’s stay is a pleasant one but also be able to deal with any guest queries in an efficient and timely manner
Budgeting and meeting sales targets
To help organise sales incentives and promotions that may increase the turnover of the hotel
Implementing health and safety procedures in all departments
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to work on your own initiative
Leadership skills and Ambition
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience is essential
